Exhibition: Dance - Europe's living heritage in motion
In the framework of the Night of the Museums programme, we opened our international exhibition Dance - Europe's Living Heritage in Motion on 22 June at the Hungarian Open Air Museum in Szentendre. The aim of the exhibition is to present dance tradition as an intangible cultural heritage. In this approach, the participatory, communal function and the role of the community are of paramount importance and are fundamental to the exhibition's structure.
The exhibition is part of the EU project Dance as Intangible Heritage: new models for facilitating participatory dance events, co-funded by the European Union under the Creative Europe programme.
